The Diamond Rank is a free strength-ratings platform for youth travel baseball. We collect very little, and this page explains all of it in plain language.
The Diamond Rank works at the team level only. We do not collect, store, or publish player names, player statistics, photos of players, or any other information about individual children. Rankings, scores, and Games of the Week are built entirely from team names and final game scores.
We don't run user accounts, we don't sell or rent any information to anyone, and we don't use advertising or tracking networks.
You can use every page of thediamondrank.com without telling us anything. There's no login and no analytics trackers. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs — things like IP address and pages requested — to run and secure the service, as every website host does.
If you mark favorite teams on the rankings page, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we can't see it.
Score reports, scheduling-board posts, and coach profiles are submitted through Google Forms, so Google processes those submissions on our behalf. Depending on the form, you may share your name, email address, team, general home area, and contact preferences. We use this only to verify game results, run the scheduling board, and — if you opt in — send you updates. Coach contact details are never published on the site.
If you opt in to emails, we use your address to send occasional Diamond Rank updates — new rankings, featured games, and site news. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just reply and ask to be removed. We never share the mailing list.
The app shows the same public site. If you turn on Team Alerts, the app registers a push-notification token with our notification provider (OneSignal) along with the team and age group you chose to follow — that's the entire list. It isn't linked to your name or identity, and it's used for exactly one thing: sending you the alerts you asked for. Turning off Team Alerts in the app, or turning off notifications in iOS Settings, stops them.
The Diamond Rank is written for coaches, parents, and tournament directors — it isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Because there are no accounts and no player-level data, there's very little a child could submit; if you believe a child has sent us personal information through a form, email us and we'll delete it.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site or app after a change means the updated policy applies.
